The Garrotxa Volcanic Zone is the best example of a volcanic landscape in the Iberian Peninsula. It has about forty volcanic cones and more than 20 lava flows. The Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park has several itineraries that pass through the most interesting places in the Natural Park, most are signposted.
The most popular and emblematic volcanoes are Santa Margarida, Montsacopa and Croscat.
